Weighing in at only 3.7 pounds, General
Kinematics stroke monitor works great to quickly
test displacement on a single unit or for an entire
plant-wide inspection. The monitors compact
size can easily be held or carried by its
handle, and is powered by three 9-volt batteries
(included) to provide a monitor that can go
anywhere.
The stroke monitor offers versatility in a portable
package. The factory default settings are for
displacement at a 0-2 inch range but can be
recalibrated at time of order for velocity or
acceleration readings and at different ranges for
more accuracy. The unit can also be modified in
the field by following the simple procedure found in
the user manual.
The stroke monitor comes with
two types of accelerometer connections. The BNC
connection is used with the magnetic
accelerometer that is provided with the unit. The
second connection is for use with GKCs industrial
mount accelerometers (P/N 10-07-300-01) that are permanently mounted to the vibratory equipment.
The easy-to-read display consists of large 0.37" LED digits. The LEDs are bright red and can be
seen in the darkest of environments.
The magnetic accelerometer that is provided is as
rugged as the portable monitor itself. The strong
magnet will provide a good connection to your
vibratory equipment to ensure accurate readings
while the accelerometer cable is held tight with a
threaded connection to the accelerometer body. |
