Environmentally Sustainable Material Processing (ESMP)


General Kinematics is leading the effort in the design and manufacture of material handling equipment designed to reduce the impact of industrial processing on the environment. ESMP is the methodology of looking at ways to ­­­reduce energy consumption, conversion of waste materials into renewable resources, and reduction in the overall impact of industrial processing on ecological systems.

GK equipment is designed using the principles of natural frequency, which allows processing of material with less horsepower and electrical consumption than traditional equipment designs. GK is committed to development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs, and partners with our customers to find solutions that not only enhance their process, but improve the overall environment they operate in.
