GK employees receive health insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, within their PPO network. Medical coverage begins the 1st of full-time employment.
Our benefit package includes dental insurance through Delta Dental, including provisions that help reduce out-of-pocket expenses through the use of providers in the Delta Dental network. Dental coverage begins the 1st day of full-time employment
Employees are eligible quarterly to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program. Employees can contribute any amount (up to the federal maximum allowance) of their salary into retirement funds on a pre-tax basis.
GK matches 50% of the first 3% of employee eligible contributions. Employees are eligible to participate in the plan the first day of the quarter following 90 days of full-time employment. The employer match starts immediately with the employee eligibility and is fully vested.
All eligible employees are covered under a life insurance policy – at no cost to them – that provide coverage to the employee.
GK provides the employees with AD&D coverage, at no additional cost to them.
Employees who experience unexpected illness or injury are covered by short- or long-term disability protection. Short-term disability benefit are paid for a maximum of 12 weeks. Long-term disability benefits begin after a 90-day elimination period.
