锡的产地

锡矿石主要产自马来西亚、泰国、印度尼西亚等东南亚国家以及玻利维亚和尼日利亚。玻利维亚的瓦努尼锡矿是偶然发现的一座矿产,自 20 世纪 40 年代末至 20 世纪末它都是全球最大的锡矿。时至今日,玻利维亚仍有数千名矿工每天到地下作业。虽然上述锡矿开采来源同时也是锡工业的主要出产国,但澳大利亚、加拿大、英国、西班牙和日本的矿床也有少量出产。
