The longer stroke action of the FINGER-SCREEN Velocity™ imparts more energy into the materials, screening them more effectively while achieving faster material travel speeds and higher lift for challenging materials. This results in a lower bed depth, evenly distributed materials, and significantly improved screening accuracy and efficiency. Combined with our newly engineered finger deck design, which boasts 50% or greater open area, the Velocity offers superior performance, allowing materials to pass through efficiently while minimizing clogging and maximizing recovery rates.
Ideal for processing municipal solid waste (MSW), C&I, Single-Stream, and other lighter waste streams, the Velocity excels at separating fines from other challenging materials, such as garbage bags, yard waste, and other lightweight, flexible materials, thereby reducing jams, downstream wear, and downtime. Unlike Rotary trommels, which aerate materials, cause blinding, and pass long pokers with a high level of daily cleaning and maintenance requirements, FINGER-SCREEN Velocity™ separates materials based on 3D sizing with minimal blinding and minimal housekeeping.
