Screen Smarter
Introducing the General Kinematics FINGER-SCREEN FreeFlow™, an evolution of our proven FINGER-SCREEN™ technology. Building upon the original’s success, renowned for its efficient separation and classification across various applications, the FINGER-SCREEN FreeFlow™ takes performance a step further.
The FINGER-SCREEN FreeFlow™ is open below the screening deck surface, allowing material to flow freely through the screen deck, onto a separate conveyor, or into a bunker below. Materials that typically cause build-up or jams, such as high moisture fines or dirt, do not have to travel down a bottom pan, which means they don’t have the opportunity to cause problems in the first place. Unlike other screens without a bottom pan, the FINGER-SCREEN FreeFlow™ can be used as a primary or secondary screen.

Streamline Scrap Processing
General Kinematics’ High-Energy Primary or Secondary Screens for Metal Recovery have successfully conquered scrap processing challenges where trommel and disc screens can’t keep up. The FINGER-SCREEN™ for Metal Recovery uses vibratory action to separate fines from shredder material. The tapered finger deck eliminates jamming and prevents poking materials from entering chutes further down the stream. The Two-Mass, low-horsepower design has few moving parts for minimal maintenance and maximum uptime.
We manufacture our metal screeners with superior wear resistance and durability, compared to rotary trommels or star-type screens, to handle the abuse of more difficult applications like ASR scrap recycling.

General Kinematics’ FINGER-SCREEN™ for Waste to Energy (WTE) is proven to be highly successful in processing wet bottom ash and scalping off the “bulkies”. GK’s vibratory FINGER-SCREEN™ is a Two-Mass, low horsepower design with few moving parts for low maintenance, maximum up time and reliable performance.
The FINGER-SCREEN™ finger decks are designed with superior wear resistance and durability. Tapered finger designs along with unique cam-out surfaces and staggered positions help to prevent material bypass. The vibratory action spreads material across the deck thereby lowering the bed depth for maximum utilization of the screen area. Separation performance is further enhanced as material freely cascades down the deck with less plugging, trapping, or pegging. The result: continuous, dynamic material flow to enhance and optimize separation and classification.

The FINGER-SCREEN™ vibratory screener is a patented, non-binding design concept for resource recovery. Our vibratory screeners can be used to separate materials by size, removing small particles from large objects. This process makes it easy for sizing and classifying a wide variety of materials, completing the work of several people in a reduced amount of time. The process also reduces the volume for further sorting by manual (density) or automatic (robotic sensors) methods. This screening separation machine has proven to be highly successful in a wide range of applications that are prone to hang-ups common to conventional wire mesh screening surfaces.

Enhance Your Material Separation
General Kinematics FINGER-SCREEN Velocity™ (formerly known as FINGER-SCREEN™ 2.0) vibratory screen enhances the material separation efficiency of the original FINGER-SCREEN™ with innovative long-stroke vibratory action designed to enhance screening for even the most demanding recycling operations. The longer stroke action of the FINGER-SCREEN Velocity™ imparts more energy into the materials, screening them more effectively while achieving faster material travel speeds and higher lift for challenging materials. This results in a lower bed depth, evenly distributed materials, and significantly improved screening accuracy and efficiency. Combined with our newly engineered finger deck design, which boasts 50% or greater open area, the Velocity offers superior performance, allowing materials to pass through efficiently while minimizing clogging and maximizing recovery rates.
