GK Customer Success Story – Wisconsin C&D Recycling

 by General Kinematics,

General Kinematics is influential in many industries across the globe. One great example of the industry-leading work they are helping to facilitate can be seen in Dane County Wisconsin at their new state of the art C&D Recycling Center.

The Heart of Your Sorting System

With the introduction of the General Kinematics FINGER-SCREEN™ Vibratory Screen and DE-STONER® Air Classifier, Dane County’s C&D Recycling Center is able to effectively and efficiently separate out materials for resource recovery. This not only reduces waste that would otherwise be filtered into local area landfills but also helps to collect reusable materials that can be recycled and made into supplies for later projects.

Dane County attributes a large part of their success to the fact that they use General Kinematics machines which are sustainable, low-maintenance, durable, and reliable. Seeing success with GK parts in previous sorting centers, Dane County was excited to bring GK technologies to their newest recycling center. They retrofitted an existing sorting center with GK parts and machinery and were more effectively able to accommodate the amount of recyclable C&D materials being created in the county.

By retrofitting the existing building, they were able to save time and money instead of having to build a whole new facility or continuing to ship recyclable materials for sorting at a facility that was over 2.5 hours away.

We at GK support Dane County in their efforts to make a better tomorrow by recycling and recovering materials for future use. This process helps create a sustainable tomorrow for not just Dane County, but the entire globe. General Kinematics is the heart of the world’s most innovative recycling systems and companies like Dane County’s C&D Recycling Center make it all worthwhile.
