GK’s Shaking Things Up in April at CastExpo – Minneapolis

When is the metalcasting industry fully charged? When we are completely inspired by the potential that lies ahead. This why GK is proud to be a part of the 2016 CastExpo. CastExpo & 120th Metalcasting Congress is the largest tradeshow and expo for metalcasting in the Americas. For 4 days, on April 16-19, industry members of all disciplines will come together to check out the newest technology and products from more than 400 exhibitors at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Sponsored by the American Foundry Society—a nonprofit association that serves members of the metal casting supply chain in the U.S. and internationally—CastExpo includes instructional and inspirational presentations on how to improve operations and efficiency. In addition, keynote sessions from global experts describe the trends the industry faces and next steps to success. Most importantly, the convention is a time to connect with colleagues and experts face-to-face.

GK Presentations—HUB at the Expo

General Kinematics have two live presentations describing the capabilities of GK’s VIBRA-DRUM® technology. This vibratory drum incorporates a unique rotational material motion versus a traditional ball or rotary grinding mill that can achieve a gentle, effective shakeout for fragile castings. Want to learn more? Stop by the presentation or make an appointment to meet with us one-on-one.

Our CastExpo speaker will be Claude Hutchens, GK’s Foundry Director & International Sales Director. Claude has worked in engineering and sales at General Kinematics for over twenty years. He’ll be presenting GK’s VIBRA-DRUM® technology which will highlight the equipment capabilities as well as application case studies, photos and videos. Trust us, you won’t want to miss it!
