Double Inlet Feeder – Case Study

 by General Kinematics,

Llambec was approached by to design a system of extracting and screening material from the waste silo’s and waste dumps.

The project entailed extracting ROM Waste Ore from 2 existing outlets under the concrete silo and feeding this together with waste dump material to a screen for washing purposes. The fines and slurry is then pumped to the existing mills in the Gold Plant.

The biggest Kinetic Energy Saving Feeder in Africa was designed 1500 wide x 13 000 long and installed for 250 tph feed – Been in operation since 2009.
