The “Golden Spring” is a time-honored General Kinematics tradition dating back to 2012, designed to recognize General Kinematics employees that go above and beyond their responsibilities to create the best working environment, products for our customers, and built-in quality that General Kinematics is known for.
First Quarter 2018 – Derek Arnolde, R&D Technician
Derek, one of our amazing R&D Technicians was recognized in the first quarter for his willingness to always lend a hand to other departments. General Kinematics attends many tradeshows throughout the year and Derek has helped tremendously with the process of getting equipment “stage ready” for every show.
This “One Company” attitude exemplifies the brand behaviors that we look for in our SCOPE program. Thank you Derek for setting a great example for the rest of the team and always looking to help your fellow GKers out!
Second Quarter 2018 – Doug Sessler, Field Service Technician
Field Service Technician, Doug Sessler, awarded the Golden Spring in the second quarter has exemplified the Superior Service aspect of our company SCOPE program. Doug has been recognized time and time again for his ability to take control and find solutions for GK customers.
Doug takes personal accountability seriously in every job he is tasked with and the results are shown in the volume of appreciative GK customers around the globe. Thank you Doug for your commitment to your customers!
Third Quarter 2018 – Vince Brice, Design Engineer II
In the Third Quarter, Vince Brice, a Design Engineer II received the Golden Spring Award for his dedication to improving processes at GK throughout all departments. Vince has helped set up Outlook Macros for the sales team and imagined new methods of email and documentation storage, all while designing equipment solutions for our customers. Thank you Vince for living the brand and promoting the company-wide Continual Improvement aspect of SCOPE.
