STM-SERIES® TWO-MASS VIBRATORY SCREENS

The STM-SCREEN™ vibratory mining screens have a 4x retention rate for improved screening. As a part of the STM-SERIES® Heavy-duty Screens, the STM-SCREEN™ was built to last. Our patented modular design uses a center spline to significantly increase structural integrity and allow easy assembly and disassembly for quick transport and installation. Experience the Two-Mass Advantage

General Kinematics engineered the STM-SCREEN™ Two-Mass Vibratory Screen to maximize the efficiency and capacity of screened minerals. In the past, brute force mining screens struggled to keep up with material surges, leading to blockages and downtime. That’s why General Kinematics built the STM-SCREEN™ using Two-Mass technology to combat the difficulties associated with brute-force vibratory mining screens. Now, you can screen more material than your old brute force screens– in the same footprint.

GK’s Two-Mass technology is load-responsive, allowing the STM-SCREEN™ to respond positively to material loading. Two-Mass equipment can maintain a consistent stroke during material surges, enabling the unit to screen minerals the same regardless of material load. The dual in-board vibratory motors eliminated the need for expensive belts, shafts, and bearings associated with brute force models.

lab testing

General Kinematics’ STM-SCREEN™ testing replicates actual process conditions of SAG, AG, HPGR, or Crusher Circuits.

Key Elements

Belt Feeder to meter in material to replicate actual bed depth and equivalent volume as your process screen.

Test Screen with ± 3000 mm length by 300 mm width screening area. Overs from the screen are recirculated 3-5 times, enabling a scale up to 4.8M Wide by 12M Long Single Deck or Dual Deck STM-SCREEN™.

Metered Water Manifold and Spray Bars (wet screening) to achieve equivalent material-to-water ratios of material slurry entering the screen and watered spray along the length of the screen surface.

Testing Lab Equipment Ro-Tap Sieves, Drying Oven, and Weight Scales to analyze and document each passing of material over the test screen for PSD, Screening Efficiency & percentage of Moisture.

Lab Screen Set-up Options

  • Angle of Incline: Flat to 20+ degrees
  • Angle of Throw: 35 to 55 degrees
  • RPM: 500 to 1000
  • Stroke: 3mm to 12.5mm
  • Material Rate of Speed: 0.2 to 0.5 m/s
