General Kinematics has recently achieved second year gold status for the “I Make America” Campaign. This reputable organization works to improve manufacturing policy, creative more American jobs and stimulate the economy. The parent company is the Association of Equipment Manufactures.
In order to achieve gold status, a company must contribute a certain level of employee participation, trade show sign ups, and legislation support. Currently, there are over 900 AEM members, with only 26 achieving Gold status. General Kinematics was one of 14 being honored as a second year winner. Reaching this benchmark declares General Kinematics as an industry leader for the second year in a row.
Nikki Sullivan, Director of continual growth has been quoted in the press release:
“We add our voices to… repair our nation’s roads, bridges, runways, and railways and… support greater manufacturing job growth.”
The awards took place on November 5, 2013. Other gold winners were prestigious companies such as Wolf Robotics, Kondex Corporation and Caterpillar. Review the entire story on AEM’s website where you’ll also find membership information, industry news, and other ways to get involved in I Make America.
