Mining Vibratory Feeders 101

It can be difficult to decide what feeder is best for your specific application. We would like to make it easier for you! Below are highlights of a few types of vibratory mining feeders from General Kinematics.

 

 

Direct-Drive Vibratory Feeder

Designed for rugged continuous duty. This feeder is designed to handle heavy duty material and last. Some GK installations of this style feeder have been in the field for over 40 years.

 

PARA-MOUNT II® Modular Vibratory Feeders

If you have had difficulty installing new equipment in the past this feeder may be the one for you. Engineered for mines that employ concrete tunnels in mind, this feeder is easily installed in spaces with 3 feet or less. This style uses huck bolts to eliminate welding during installation. Capable of handling 2,000 tons per hour and built using GK’s signature Two-Mass Design.

PARA-MOUNT II ® Totally Enclosed Vibratory Feeders

Is dust a problem in your processing area? This totally enclosed feeder eliminates dust, with no need for a hopper skirt. Bed depth regulation plate and inspection door allow for ease of maintenance. In addition, these feeders are capable of operating under head loads thereby reducing material bridging and plugging and requirements for other flow-enhancing equipment.

 

PARA-MOUNT II® Vibratory Feeders

Vibratory Feeder for Mining and Minerals

Proven and popular, this style feeder is the first choice for demanding applications. Can be manufactured in fixed or variable force design using GK’s sub-resonant Two-Mass design. The Two-Mass design allows for low energy usage as it works with natural frequency to move your material. Engineered extra heavy duty to take a beating with low maintenance requirements.

 

Vibrating Grizzly Feeders
