Must-Attend Recycling Conferences of 2016

Day in and day out, General Kinematics is striving to manufacture top notch recycling solutions equipped with state of the art technology. Our goal is to stay ahead of the curve; pioneering the most effective and efficient industrial recycling equipment available. We also place a great deal of value on the partnerships we have built and maintained throughout the past 50 years, as well as look forward to building new and lasting partnerships for years to come.

For this reason, we’ve put together a list of some of our favorite North American recycling conferences that will be taking place over the course of the next year. If we missed any of the top events of 2016, feel free to add them to the comments below!

1. ISRI Convention, April 3-7 | Las Vegas, Nevada

The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, a Washington-based trade association, will be hosting its annual recycling convention at the beginning of April, in Las Vegas. The conference will cover a broad range of scrap industry topics, and will offer workshops, networking sessions, as well as other informative general session.

Early bird registration ends on January 31, so make sure to register soon to get the best rate!

2. C&D World, May 1-3 | San Jose, California

C&D World Exhibition and Conference is a must-attend event devoted exclusively to construction and demolition recycling professionals. Taking place at the beginning of May in San Jose, California, C&D World is your best opportunity to meet other leaders in the industry, as well as learn and examine the challenges of making the world a better place. Throughout the three day conference, you will have the opportunity to learn more about governmental regulations, best practices in the C&D industry and other elements that are vital to running a successful business with minimal environmental impact.

3. WasteExpo, June 6-9 | Las Vegas, Nevada

A leader in its industry, WasteExpo is one of the largest conferences and tradeshows in the waste, recycling, and organics sector. This year’s annual exhibit will take place in Las Vegas, where nearly 600 of the industry’s leading providers will share their knowledge and experiences.

In addition to learning about the latest developments in your sector and benefiting from specialized guidance, you will also have the opportunity to connect with over 13,000 professionals in compost, waste, anaerobic digestion, recycling, healthcare, MSW, and more. And if that’s not enough, attendees can earn continuing education credits just for showing up!

These are just a handful of the recycling conferences that are held each year, but there are many more held in countries all over the world. We recommend that you take a chance to check them out if you have the time. If you have questions about these conferences or just a question for General Kinematics, we are here to help!
